Money Jar Welcome!!!

 G'day and a big welcome to Eco's ASX Money Jar. I am of Mark Tilbury's vintage. This means I don;t leave the switch on when I unplug my computer tablet. Just so you know.

(Mark Tilbury had this great\Youtube channel where his genuineness shines through.)

I care for this Planet too and I pick up littet on the street. Wherever I am in Australia.

I care about animals. I really love dogs. So faithful.

I attend Church - unlike too many Australians. I believe that religion stops people eating each other.

I hold a Bachelor of Business and I have been investing since the days of 'chalkies' and ASX libraries (Days of paper communication.)

The first thing is to have at least $1500 or more. Most people will of course save up this money. This will entail sascrifice and turning your back on opportunities to have short-term satisfaction. Economists call these opportunity costs. If you can change habits, you might be on the same path as the Oracle of Omaha. Warren Buffett himself. Or his long term investing mentor    Graham.

But before that, you need to set your attitude to risk. Do this for your investing in general AND each investment you undertake. There are some very safe ASX investments many investors have no knowledge of. No, we are not referring to ultra risky investments for 'sophisticated' investors.

I look forward to researching and following ASX companies for investors. I hope to provide a personal service also. Maybe I can make a few friends along the way.

Please contact me if ANY of this echoes with you. Don't be shy.

If you absolutely need help saving up money, you are welcome to contact me. There is absolutely NO reason to stay poor and dependent on government welfare or bad habits. ou, your children and grandchildren (even though unborn) deserve a better future. You must really - 300% - want CHANGE. If you do, you will be prepared to do radically different activities. These may well include giving up some friendships, reading and writing about about successful people, writing up and itemising your daily spending or going to Church.

For now, I heartily recommend the Rich Dad books by Japanese-American legend Robert Kyosaki. He served in Vietnam, and found success when he appeared on Oprah Winfrey. (When he got the 'annoying' call, Robert was in Australia and was out to enjoy an peaceful holiday in the Outback}

These are VERY volatile times. But volatility can be an investor's friend. Ask Warren Buffet. (This is contrarian thinking - not just following the masses and/or the newspapers,)

Like Mark Tilbury, I am not a financial advisor. I do not make commissions. As Australia's non-Establishment Barefoot Investor signs off, TREAD YOUR OWN PATH.
